No. Your letter stays sealed from the moment you write it to the day it’s delivered. We never read or open your letter — it’s completely private.
What if the recipient moves?
We include a sticker in each pack for the return address and delivery date. If the recipient needs to update their address, they can contact us before the send date.What if I buy this as a gift?
That’s a beautiful idea. Each pack is designed to be giftable, and we include everything needed to understand the process — including space to hand over the future delivery details.Where are the letters stored?
All letters are stored securely in our dedicated archive. They’re protected, organized by date, and checked regularly to ensure safe delivery when the time comes.Letter damaged or lost (very rare)
A Letter Later is a sentimental service designed for written words, not material goods. We kindly ask that no cash, gift cards, or valuables be enclosed. In the rare event of loss or damage, our commitment is to issue a full refund for the service fee. While we take every precaution to preserve your letter securely for up to five years, we cannot be held liable for the content itself.

• Once your letter is returned to us, it cannot be retrieved, edited, or retracted. Please ensure you are happy with your message before sending.
• Letters are stored securely in a private location until they are posted.
• We reserve the right to refuse letters that contain inappropriate material.
• You are responsible for addressing your return letter clearly and correctly.
